Bluebonnet Feeds becomes partner for 2010 World Equestrian Games

Lexington, KY —

Alltech, a global leader in animal health and nutrition, announced Thursday that Bluebonnet Feeds by AC Nutrition will be an official animal health and nutrition partner for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010.


AC Nutrition joins more than 50 global partners who have joined title sponsor, Alltech, in a collaborative effort to promote optimal animal health and well-being during the games.


“AC Nutrition shares Alltech’s commitment to animal health and nutrition as they know that the foundation for healthy horses is a balanced diet made with the highest standards, latest research and quality ingredients,” said Dr. Pearse Lyons, president and founder of Alltech.


“Our goal at AC Nutrition is to create a business environment where every customer experience is positive,” AC Nutrition President Dale Downs said. “We are very excited about this new partnership for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, which we believe will enable us to further enhance our customers’ experience with our brand.”


AC Nutrition acquired Bluebonnet Feeds in July 2008. The Ardmore company prides itself on delivering safe, quality feeds and providing individualized care for each customer’s needs. Founded in 1982 by the Urbanosky Brothers, AC Nutrition markets Bluebonnet Feeds to stores for retail sale and provides consulting and nutritional supplements to livestock enterprises.


The strategic partnership with Alltech includes collaborative sales, marketing and advertising activities as well as hospitality opportunities in the build-up to the event, which is the most prestigious equestrian competition in the world. 


The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will be in Lexington, Ky., from Sept. 25 through Oct. 10, Next year’s event is the first time the competition has been scheduled outside of Europe.
