Services for Norma Jean Smith will be Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at 10 a.m. at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Frank Simpson officiating. A family meal will be served following the service and interment will be at 4 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Okla.

Virginia Dare Washington was born March 1, 1915, in Ardmore, to the union of Albert and Laura Nash Washington. She was the youngest of four: brothers, Charles and Louis, and sister Ellen. She transitioned from this life on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the age of 94. Her parents and siblings preceded her in death, as well as uncles T.R. Nash, Mack Nash, and niece Annie Laura Johnson. She is survived by a niece, Helen McGee of Ardmore; two nephews, Charles Washington Jr. of Tulsa and Louis Washington Jr. of California; one aunt, Dola Mae Nash of Ardmore; and many grand, great and great-great nieces, nephews, cousins and dear, devoted friends.
