Wendell Wayne Mose, age 62, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009, in Idabel, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009, at Griffin~Hillcrest Chapel. Interment to follow at McMillan Cemetery.

Wendell was born on December 29, 1946, in McMillan, Oklahoma, to Doyle Mose and Agnes (Williams) Mose.

Wendell attended Plainview Schools. He met and married Geraldine Underwood. Wendell worked for Larry Don Buck as a ranch hand. He enjoyed playing softball and shooting pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, Sheldon Mose, and an infant daughter.

Wendell is survived by his son, Jackie Underwood and wife, Barbara, of Stratford, Okla.; his daughter, Charlotte Luna of Denton, Texas; six grandchildren, Ben, J.D., Erin, and Jerry Underwood of Stratford, Okla., Chrissy Phipps of Denton, Texas, and Kurt Phipps of Ardmore, Okla.; sister, Mary Taylor of Ardmore, Okla., and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Craig Wallace, Darrell Wallace, Mark Joe, Keith Coley, Phil Marris and Gordy Meely.

The family will greet visitors today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin~Hillcrest.
