Memorial services for Glen D. Long are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Don Preston officiating and his sister Brenda Stovall will give the Eulogy.


Glen was born October 25, 1944, in Santa Paula, Calif. to George Victor and Wanda Barnard Long. He passed this life on June 28, 2009, in a local Hospital.


He and Brenda Cagle were married on May 20, 1989, in Las Vegas, Nev. He had lived in Ardmore for 13 years moving here from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Glen worked for the Chickasaw Nation as a Security Officer and attended the Ardmore Church of Christ.


He is survived by his wife of the home, Brenda Long, daughters, Sarah Squires of Ballwin, Mo., and Shauna Brueck of Appolo Beach, Fla., step daughter Kathy Benson of Vacaville, Calif., a step son, Donald Byrd of Poteau, Okla., sister Brenda Stovall of Fort Smith, Arkansas, a brother, Homer Long of Moorepark, Calif. and one granddaughter, Emily Squires of Ballwin, Mo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Larsen and a brother, Howard Baxter Long.


Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Burgett, Melvin Casey, Doug Bennett and Allan Yeargan.
