Craig Darwin Villines, 37, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Sulphur, Okla. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2009, at Griffin-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Donny Custar officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Craig was born March 8, 1972, in Ardmore, Okla., to John Villines and Marie (Givens) Villines. Craig attended Ardmore City Schools. He went to work for Mr. Auto Glass and then later went to work for the Overland Corporation in the maintenance shop until he was disabled due to an accident. Craig enjoyed target shooting, fishing and working with his hands on cars. He loved spending time with his Family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Margie Lucille Givens, paternal grandfather, Gerald Villines, and cousin Joe Griffith.

Craig is survived by his mother, Marie Villines of Ardmore; his father, John Villines and wife, Darlene, of Tecumseh, Okla.; paternal grandmother, Billie Nelson of Ardmore; sister, Christine Villines of Ardmore; nephew, Tyree Bennett of Ardmore; two nieces, Danieka Bennett and Adrianne Bennett, all of Ardmore; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a close special friend, Beverly Thompson of the home.

Pallbearers will be Scott Stahl, Ken Goodin, Kerry “Cowboy” Martin, Paul Dudley, Anthony Thompson, Ben Miller, and Brett Hubbard.

The family will greet relatives and friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. at Griffin-Hillcrest.
