Edith Alison Litts, 45, of Cheek, Okla., passed away quietly at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City, with her family at her side on February 1, 2010. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Cheek Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Jackson officiating.
Edith Alison was born on November 11, 1964, in Ardmore, Okla., to Donald and Peggy Litts. She attended Ardmore High School and was of Non-Denominational Faith who believed strongly in her God and Jesus Christ. Her interest in life was spending time and sharing stories with her “Mama” and her sister, Ari Dawn who were her best friends, and taking care of her plants and cats.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald W. Litts Jr.; sister, Ari Dawn Litts; brother, Lynn Taylor Litts; half brother, Darwin Keith Litts; grandparents, Ira and Daphney Joy, Donald W. Litts Sr. and Edith Levinson.
Edith Alison is survived by her mother, Peggy Louise Litts; brother, Terry Gene Litts; uncles and aunts, Jerry and Clancy Joy, John Joy, Bob and Carol Litts and family; sisters-in-law, Deborah Litts and Dawn Litts; nephews, David John Litts, Ira Don Litts, Kyle Gallaway, Asa Don Litts and Cache Taylor Litts; nieces, Ina Deathridge and family, Joni Guzman and family, and Rachel Joy Litts; cousins, Dawn and Joe Rudd and family, Bob and Claudette Joy and Bill Joy and his son, Jacob Joy. She also leaves behind close and long-time friends.
Pallbearers will be Terry Litts, Ira Litts, David Litts, Jerry Joy, Bill Joy and Bob Joy. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Rudd, Michael Rudd, John Joy, Bob Litts and Gary Dale Joy.
