Charles Raymond Wilson passed away at the age of 68 on Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Ardmore, Okla. Services will be at the First Baptist Church of Gene Autry on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. with the Reverend David Colaw officiating. Interment will follow in Gene Autry Cemetery.
Charles was born on April 27, 1941, in Wilson Okla.
He worked as a pre-need salesman for Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery and for Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home until his retirement. Charles married Inez Lewis on May 14, 2008, in Gainesville, Texas. In his retirement he enjoyed working as a handyman. He was always willing to help others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Wilson, of the home, one daughter Sherry Chambers of Oklahoma City, Okla., one sister, Betty Joe Acox of Ardmore, Okla.
