Services for Guanmin “Kathy” Jiang are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating; interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family visitation will be at Craddock Funeral Home Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
Guanmin was born September 5, 1963, in Hebei, China. She and Jiyi Zhang were married May 1, 1988, in Baoding, China. She passed this life on November 6, 2009, at her residence in Ardmore, Okla.
She earned her Master’s in Science from the Agricultural University of Hebei in China. She and Jiyi had lived in Ardmore for 8 ½ years moving here from Logan, Utah. She was employed by The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation as a Research Associate. She attended the First Baptist Church in Ardmore.
She is survived by Jiyi Zhang, her husband, of the home; one son, Shaopei Zang, OU campus, Norman, Oklahoma; her father, Jingpeng Jiang, China; brothers, Guanhu Jiang, Guanhuan Jiang and Guanjing Jiang; sister, Guanfen Jiang of China.
Serving as pallbearers will be Yuhui Chen, Chunxiang Fu, Yinbing Ge, Yuanhong Han, Hui Shen, Huanzhong Wang. Services have been entrusted to Craddock Funeral Home.
