Graveside services for Dave Alva “Alvie” Mauldin, 69, will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009, at Rose Hill Cemetery officiated by the family.

Born on August 21, 1940, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to George Alva and Selma Heron Mauldin and passed away on November 3, 2009, at his Kingston residence.

 Mr. Mauldin had been a resident of Kingston the past six years moving there from Garland, Texas. He served his country in the Army Reserves. Mr. Mauldin was a retired landscaping foreman and was currently employed with the Chickasaw Nation in Kingston, Oklahoma, working in house keeping. Alvie was known as a rat packer, and enjoyed gambling, fishing, running the roads and most of all, living at his lake house.  

 He is survived by his son: Dee Mauldin and his wife, Mary of Riviera Beach, Florida; daughter: Andee Dunn and her husband Jeff of Garland, Texas; grandchildren: Hunter and Chase Dunn; niece, Judy Rogers and numerous other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patsy Mauldin.

The family will receive friends today at the residence of Judy Rogers located at 1810 Springdale Road, Ardmore, Okla.
