Services for Mrs. Patsy Katherine (Caldwell) Williams, 63 of Coweta, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Dale Tarp officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

 

Patsy was born May 12, 1947, at Wilson to the late Mr. John Lacurgis Caldwell and Mrs. Annie Mae (Copeland) Caldwell. She departed this life Friday, August 27, 2010, at Coweta, Okla.

 

Patsy was raised in the Wilson area attending school at Zaneis and Wilson. She married Mr. Claude Williams April 6, 1964, at the First Baptist Church of Wilson. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading. She also was employed at several places as a cook, including the Lone Grove Bowling Alley. She worked for many years alongside husband, Claude roofing houses. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan, loving to collect his movies and memorabilia. Claude preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2005.

 

In addition to her husband, also preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Connie Caldwell; nephew,  Michael Paul Chapman; and a niece Angie Casey.

 

Survivors include four daughters, Lea Miles and husband, Chris of St. Francis, Ky., Tammy Johnson and husband, Patrick of Ryan, Barbara Holman of Wilson and Virginia May and husband, Jim of Coweta; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Smith of Inola, Okla., Kay Caldwell of Wilson, and Sherl Casey and husband, Dave of Sayre;   nieces, Jennifer Norman, Tina Chapman and Trina Chapman; numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Pallbearers are Jim May, Josh May, Kendall Tallon, Chris Miles, Kenny Burden, and Robert Johnson.
Honorary bearers are Buster Reed, Patrick Johnson, Butch Butler, and Bob Butler.

 

Family visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. today, August 29, 2010, at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
