Ardmore resident Bernice Patterson, 77, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010.
She was born Jan. 15, 1933, in Earlsboro, Oklahoma, to Boone Brooks and Faye Jarie Patterson.
She was a graduate of Tecumseh High School 1950. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1983 with 19 years, employed as an operator and records clerk. She was proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Melvin Eugene Patterson and great-granddaughter, Kylie Shaye Henderson.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Darrell Crass of Midland, Texas, and Paula and Earl Henderson of Duncan, Okla.; sister and brother-in-law, Francene and Eddie Marx of Lexington, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Christopher Davidson, Midland, Texas, Dyann and husband, Richie Pingleton of Pauls Valley, April Vanacek of Midland, Texas, Daynna and husband, Darrell Sherwood of Foster, Okla., Dara Crass of Midland, Texas, Dereck Crass of Midland, Texas, and James and wife, Ashley Henderson of Duncan, Okla.; and twelve Great-Grandchildren.
Grave side services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at the Sandy Bear Cemetery in Northeastern Stephens County under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home of Pauls Valley, Okla.
The family has requested visitation for Mrs. Patterson on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, from 5–8 p.m.
