Harry George Hadler, 88, was born on Dec. 14, 1919, and died at his home in Edmond on Aug. 28, 2008.
He was a well-known oilman in Oklahoma who with his partner, Gerald Eason, formed Hadson Oil & Gas Co. in the 1960s and were active in drilling in the deep Arkoma and Anadarko basins of Oklahoma and expanding to many other states. He owned and operated the Coors Beer Distributing Co. in Ardmore for 15 years and was a board member of Lincoln Bank and Trust from 1973, for over 20 years.
He returned to Oklahoma City in 1994 and remained active in the oil business, travel, flying and golf. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary, of Edmond; four daughters; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at Smith & Kernke on May Ave. in Oklahoma City with burial in the family plot in Argonia, Kan.
