Mary Goltz Millea, 79, of Sioux City, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the Lakeland Manor nursing home in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at Lakeland Manor, today at 2:00 p.m.
A devoted Catholic, Mary was born January 24, 1931, in Sioux City, the daughter of Carlos and Grace Goltz. She was married in 1952 to Dr. Roger Millea and moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where they had five children, all of whom survive her: Michael, Fred, Paul, Mary, Holly. She is also survived by her brother Ron Goltz, of Kansas City, Kansas.
Mary moved to Ardmore in 2007 to be near her children and grandchildren. Thanks to the loving care and kindness of the staff of Lakeland Manor, her last two years were among her happiest. Quick-witted, unconditionally loving, and blessed with a priceless smile, she was a passionate supporter of Civil Rights. Mary’s family and friends will miss her dearly and immeasurably.
