Memorial services for Athena Louise (Tina) Smith are scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Ratliff City Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Tina was born July 23, 1973 in Tacoma, Wash. to Giles and Brenda Kay Kirchner Ferguson. She passed this life at her home in Ratliff City surrounded by her loving family Friday afternoon. She and Kevin Smith were married on Sept. 15, 2001 in Duncan. She had worked at several restaurants including Millie’s Café, Denny’s and Luigi’s.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin of the home; their three children Jade Lea Smith, Sean Wayne Smith and Alex Michael Smith all of the home; her parents, Brenda Kay Kirchner and Giles M. Ferguson, four sisters, Rosalie Blancett of California, Charlesty Burchfield of Texas, Charlene Jackson of Oklahoma, Donna Townsend of Oklahoma. Five brothers, Giles Ferguson II of California, Troy Ferguson of California, Shawn Burchfield of Texas, Roger Smith of Oklahoma and Royce Townsend of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, G.W. Bailey.
