Memorial services for Deborah Gail Faught, 58, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Reverend Donny Custar officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The daughter of the late Floyd Mills and Wilma (Nell) Mills, Deborah was born on August 4, 1953, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away on January 31, 2012, at the local hospital.
She and Glenn Faught were married on April 23, 1976, in Wichita, Kansas.
Mrs. Faught had been a resident of Ardmore for the past nine years moving here from Denver, Colorado. She grew up in Denver and graduated from Denver West High School. She was a tax preparer with H & R Block for 19 years and the past two weeks with Smith Carney Accounting Firm. Mrs. Faught enjoyed knitting, quilting and crafts but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn of the home; sons, Kenny Faught of Mulvane, Kansas, and David Faught of Haysville, Kansas; sisters, Judy Waston of Longmont, Colorado, Kris Kier of Holyoke, Colorado, Lyn Lucas of Amarillo, Texas, and Nancy Palmer of San Marcos, Texas; brothers, Kevin Mills and Troy Mills both of Littleton, Colorado; grandchildren, Amy, Elizabeth, Kade and Jesse.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and Bill Fraley, the one who she called “Dad”.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
