Sylvester Johnson was born in Widham, Texas on June 7, 1926, to Eva and Jim James Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mamie Franklin.

Elizabeth Hennen Forman Floeter Guinn, 61, beloved mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend, passed away on Friday, the 13th of November 2009, at home in Houston, surrounded by loved ones, after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. Throughout her ordeal, she refused to complain and tickled her visitors by cracking jokes, even during her final weeks.
