Comanche swept Most Valuable Player honors.

The Lake Country Conference boys basketball coaches met on Feb. 15 in Sulphur to determine individual honorees for the 2016-17 season.

This story focuses on the boys honorees.

The coaches selected Comanche’s Wesley McClendon as Most Valuable Player. The Indians’ senior helped lead Comanche to a 13-12 season, including a 12-10 regular-season record.

Coaches did not vote on an Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year — nor the league’s top newcomer.

Coaches selected all-conference honorees by team. The Ardmoreite will list schools and players in alphabetical order.

Players who earn Honorable Mention status, The Ardmoreite will list them in the order they appear on the official release.
