This season, the No. 2 Ardmore Tigers are more than used to facing challenges on the road.
Tuesday night was no exception as the Tigers managed to stave off a stubborn Duncan Demons squad, winning 60-51.
Ardmore held a 10-8 lead after the first quarter of play, before scoring 21 points before halftime.
Duncan meanwhile, was held to just nine points to end the first half of play.
After the break, the Tigers managed to put together an 11-9 third quarter, keeping the Demons at bay.
However, in the fourth quarter, the Demons offense came alive with 25 points.
Ultimately though, the Tigers 18 fourth quarter points were more than enough to hold off any rally, helping them move to 13-4 on the season.
Braeden Vance led the Tigers with 18 points in the contest, followed by Jamal Clark with 15 points.
Berto Sanchez scored 14 points for Ardmore.
Friday night the Tigers will return home for a matchup against the Lawton MacArthur Highlanders with tip-off scheduled for 8 p.m.
