After the girls took state and the boys finished state runner-up, the Plainview golf team nearly swept the Class 4A All-State West team honors with three Plainview golfers earning the distinction following their seasons.

The Oklahoma Coaches Association announced its selections Wednesday and for the Class 4A boys, Plainview’s Saxon Ross and Tyler Neher capped off their successful season with turning the All-State West Team into the All-Plainview Team.

Nothing new. Come Fall, the Plainview pair will be in Tishomingo as teammates playing on the Murray State College golf team. At state, Ross placed fourth overall, while Neher finished in a tie for fifth.

For the girls, future Aggie golfer Katie Finley took All-State honors after leading her team to back-to-back state titles. Finley finished third as an individual at the state tournament this season. In 2017, Finley claimed the state title as an individual.

In Class 3A, Lone Grove ace Izzy Lette took home All-State honors after her senior campaign. Lette drove the Lady Horns to a runner-up finish at State after finishing sixth overall at the state tournament.
