Thirteen boats participated in last week’s Valero Tuesday Evening Bass Tournament at Lake Murray, and Smiths emerged as winners.
The tandem of Lorne and Don Smith won first place with a total weight of 6.23 pounds of bass. Second place went to Sam Matheny and David Winchester (6.15 pounds) while David Miller and Jason Pittman placed third (4.86).
Miller and Pittman also caught the Big Bass, which weighed 3.65 pounds.
