The Ringling reign has ended.

Melanie Gladden struck out 14 Ringling batters Monday, leading Konawa to a 2-1 lead over the defending state Class 2A champion at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium. Barring more bad weather, Konawa is scheduled to meet Healdton, which beat Mangum 7-1 earlier in the day, at noon today. The championship game is to follow.

Baylee Butler scored Ringling’s only run.

Earlier Monday, Maci-Brooke Lambert struck out eight, Courtney Wiley and Kelsey Porterfield each went 2-for-4, and Healdton advanced to its second straight semifinal.

Lambert improved to 16-0 on the season.
