Dickson shut out Plainview’s eighth-grade girls basketball team 7-0 in the second quarter in the Madill tournament Tuesday, en route to a 27-19 win.
The Indians led 6-5 after one quarter, but the Comets went on their run before halftime to take a 12-6 lead.
Torey Weder had seven points to lead the Indians (0-3). Diana Healey added six, and Elantra Menefe and Hollie Bryant scored four and two points, respectively.
