In his first fishing tournament, Tavin Richards, 5, won the “Fishing 4 the Future” Youth Bass Tournament on Lake Murray June 20.
Pictured is Richards with his father, Rodney, after weighing in their five stringer that were 7.85 pounds. Along with first-place prize money, Tavin won a Zebco rod and reel and a set of tackle provided by numerous sponsors.
Tavin is the son of Andrea and Rodney Richards of Ardmore.
