Ardmore waited two weeks to play basketball again.

The result of Saturday’s game at MacArthur wasn’t how the Tigers wanted the wait to end.
Despite 26 points from Nino Jackson, MacArthur broke through in the final moments of a 75-74 win Saturday night.

MacArthur took a 71-69 lead in the fourth and hit four free throws from there, but Ardmore (12-7) was still behind by one point with 6.5 seconds left when it had possession, but couldn’t get a shot off before the buzzer.

Trey Cohee scored 19 points for Ardmore, which led 56-54 after trailing 35-31 at halftime.
The Highlanders avenged their 63-61 loss at Ardmore on Jan. 15.

The Tigers are scheduled to play Duncan twice this week — on the road tonight and at home Friday.
