Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ in Ardmore was decorated with candlelight and roses for the Feb. 14, 2009, wedding of Melanie Martin and Blake Hogg. Dr. Virgil Trout performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Max Martin, Ardmore; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Moore, Duncan; and the late Terry Lee Hogg. Grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Ulyss Ballard; the late Mr. and Mrs. Max H. Martin; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Blackburn; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Garland Hogg.
The bride wore a formal gown of satin featuring a halter neckline with ruched bodice and beaded, embroidered dropped waist. The skirt extended to a godet chapel train adorned with beads.
Honor attendants were Heather Crook, Fort Worth, Texas; and Colton Thompson, Oklahoma City.
Other members of the wedding party were Lesley Martin, Brooke Crosby, Averie Nelson, Randi Mann, Cole Hogg, Jason Lodes, Daniel Hull, Cinco Roos, Taryn Martin, Kamrey Martin, Daren Martin, Derek Martin, Andrew McCurdy and Stephen Langford.
The couple live in Ardmore.
