White gerbera daisies decorated Chickasaw Trail Baptist Church in Davis for the June 13, 2009, wedding of Lucy Ann Grotts and Brett Lynn Knight. Bryan Hetherington performed the ceremony and nuptial music was provided by Tanya Northcutt and Brad Hetherington.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Gary Grotts, Norman; and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Knight, Davis. The groom’s grandparents are Betty Cavnar, Ardmore; and the late Ed Cavnar.
The bride wore a formal Allure gown designed with strapless bodice adorned with hand beading. She carried a bouquet of red gerbera daisies.
Honor attendants were Megan Craighead, Norman; and Heath Foster, Davis.
Other members of the wedding party were Elizabeth Hendrix, Edmond; Natosha Saltus, Madison Schreckengost, Joshua Sauer, Tommy Grotts, Robby Grotts, Jalen Fred Grotts, and Lucas Bell, all of Norman; Sarah Grotts, Mustang; Dustyn Russell, Erik Wilson and Braeden Hefley, Davis; Lyndsi Cain, Ardmore; Whitney Kress, Cory Johnson and Victoria George, Oklahoma City.
A reception at the Microtel Hotel in Davis followed the ceremony. Reception assistants were Tammy Henson and Louann Bozeman, Norman; and Meri Jayne Miller and Lynsi Cain, Ardmore.
The couple took a surprise honeymoon trip and live in Norman.
