First United Methodist Church was decorated with gladiolus, hydrangeas and tea lights for the June 7, 2008, wedding of Stephanie Leanne Merlyn and Patrick Michael McGuire.
The ceremony was performed by Dr. Virgil Trout and nuptial music was presented by John Emery and Bridgett Babione.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Merlyn and Mr. and Mrs. Thom McGuire, all of Ardmore. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Wallace, Ardmore.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown of ivory silk featuring an intricate, pleated bias cut with graduated layers extending to a chapel train.
Honor attendants were Tarah Walker; and Tommy McGuire and William Crosby, Birmingham, Ala.
Other members of the wedding party were Tessa Todd, Jacey Wallace, Andrea Williams, Lauren Crosby, Megan McGuire, Ellie Pettit, Mikalyn Gerken, Reed Holden, Vince Johnson, Daryl Steele, Randy Womack, Daris George, Matlyn Gerken, Max Merlyn, Gage Gerken, Greg Merlyn, Reid Colley, Kellee Craddock, Karli Craddock, Lori Blevens and Heather Merlyn.
The couple took a trip to Antigua. They live in Ardmore.
