KIWANIS CLUB

The Ardmore Kiwanis Club welcomed two new members at their meeting on Tuesday. Hitting the streets

When it comes to large projects such as the upcoming new road planned going from the Market Street shopping center on 12th Avenue NW to Merrick Drive, the City of Ardmore hires contractors to do the job. But when it comes to smaller projects such as repairs, the Ardmore Street Department takes matters into its own hands.

Virginia Ann Harris

Virginia Ann Harris, age 81, passed away on April 20, 2022, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the Chapel at Griffin~ Hillcrest with Pastor Abraham Walton officiating. Cremation to follow under the care of Griffin ~ Hillcrest.

Carol Frances McMahon

Carol Frances McMahon, of Ardmore, was born on April 5, 1935, to George Ferrell and Madgie Shelton in Lawrenceburg, TN. On April 27, 2022, she reunited with her husband (Gene), three sons (Howard, Ricky and Billy), mommy and poppy, and a choir of brothers and sisters. She was 87 years old. Grandma is survived by three children, Gail Shelton of Ardmore, David and Kim McMahon of Ardmore, and Darwin and Mandie McMahan of Pass Christian, MS as well as a whole host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
