Dickson educator immersed in history at Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute

Thirty-four Oklahoma teachers including Dickson’s Middle School’s Thelesa Taylor will return to their classrooms this fall with a renewed passion for early American history and a variety of new interactive lessons plans after attending the Bob and Marion Wilson Teacher Institute of Colonial Williamsburg in the restored capital city of 18th-century Virginia.

Childcare Stabilization Grant offers financial relief

The Chickasaw Nation is offering Childcare Stabilization Grants to eligible child care providers within the Chickasaw Nation service area. The grants offer financial relief to help offset unexpected business costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. These grants are designed to help support operation services so they may continue without limiting staff or shutting down.
