Mary “Ava Nell” Holt, 89, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, November 18th, 2022. Ava was born to John Alvin Robinson and Mae Bell Brumlow Robinson on September 7th, 1933 in Powell, Oklahoma. From her young years and throughout her life, she honored, served and loved Jesus. While her first love was always Jesus, she had quite the love story that blossomed into her family legacy today. As a young woman, Ava would patiently wait each day to watch Jack Holt drive by her house and school while he delivered for Kraft. This daily occurrence bloomed into courting and then marriage on September 6th, 1949. Ava and Jack shared many dances with one another. They welcomed three daughters into their lives. Ava enjoyed her days drinking coffee, tending to her flowers, working various jobs, supporting lots of various ministries, caring for and loving her family, writing notes and scriptures on anything around her and in all her doings loving and praising Jesus. Later, Ava moved to Canoebrooke of Ardmore where she met her dear friend Glenda. The two beautiful friends shared many laughs and stories together. In 2021, Ava relocated to Country Club Care in Duncan, Oklahoma. As always, she brought love, laughter, knowledge, hope and memories to so many people. From a daughter to a mother, mother to a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-greatgrandmother, Ava taught her family that Jesus is always the most important.Ava is preceded in death by her parents John and Mae Bell Robinson; siblings, Silas Robinson, Ruthie Orr, and Evorie Robinson; son-in-law Ronnie Norman; and her true love Jack Holt.
