Reader says there’s plenty of time to get busy living

DEAR ABBY: I read the letter from the woman who is feeling alone at 66 and pondering the purpose of life (“Living Life in Texas,” July 25). Assuming she’s in good health, she’s a spring chicken compared to a 90-year-old. Allow me to offer some suggestions on how she can recapture the spark of wonder and amazement that life’s boundless opportunities offer. I’m 68 and speak from experience.

What makes this animal unique: These brothers are mirror images of each other, they’re twins! UNT’s jazz phenomes, The One O’clock Lab Band, at the Goddard Center

The Goddard Center is excited to invite you and your family to a special holiday performance by jazz sensations The One O’clock Lab Band on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. This concert will not have assigned seats, and the public is asked to social-distance themselves. This event will also feature a free daytime outreach performance for local middle and high school students. Goddard Center Members can make seat reservations for free.
