With more elections around the corner, voter fatigue complicates 2023

On Nov. 15, exactly one week after the 2022 midterm elections, Oklahoma City Ward 2 Councilman James Cooper kicked off his 2023 reelection bid at the Tower Theatre in uptown Oklahoma City. More than 1,000 miles away, former President Donald Trump was announcing his 2024 campaign to a nation still watching some states still count votes from Nov. 8.

Judge: Oklahoma Turnpike Authority violated Open Meeting Act, ACCESS project contracts rendered invalid

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority has lost the first of several impending court decisions regarding the 15year, $5 billion ACCESS Oklahoma turnpike project. Ardmore DAR chapter hears from State speaker, creates Christmas display at Ardmore Public Library

The Ardmore Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met Thursday and enjoyed a program entitled “DAR Protocol,” which was given by Oklahoma State DAR speaker Diane Hamill. Members signed Christmas cards to be given, along with a donation, to each veteran at the Ardmore Veterans Center.
