It’s Friday night. If you are not going to Norman for the OU season opener, go out and support your local high school as they open the football season. Whether it be the team, band or cheerleaders, the kids have been putting the work in and deserve your support.

The first day of class for the Fall 2024 semester has notedly become a historic day for Murray State College, with a 10% increase in headcount enrollment over the prior year. This is the continuance of a growth trend that includes a 20% increase in Fall 2023 and a 3% increase in Fall 2022, for a total increase of 33% over the three years.
In early July, Hurricane Beryl created a path of destruction from the South Caribbean, through Mexico and into the United States. A rescue team from Ardmore was on the scene from the very beginning.
