Taking in the sights at the Scarecrow Stroll

Downtown Ardmore was the place to be Tuesday evening as citizens came out to appreciate all the scarecrows in the Sixth Annual Scarecrow Contest hosted by Create Ardmore. Known as the Scarecrow Stroll, Tuesday's event encourages the public chat with the scarecrow creators. One lucky social media user even won $100 for posting photographs of her family enjoying the scarecrows to Facebook using a special hashtag.

5 things to do this weekend

Relive the past you either grew up in or wish you had grown up in during the Totally Rad Prom Gone Bad Murder Mystery Dinner. The dinner, catered by Two Frogs, will be at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Hall. Dress up in 80’s appropriate attire. Tickets are $50 per person or $300 per table. ANB hosting two fundraisers for Project31

With Breast Cancer Awareness Month now upon us, several business and organizations will be hosting fundraisers and events to help breast cancer patients and survivors. American Nation Bank will be hosting two fundraisers to benefit the breast cancer organization Project31. A raffle contest will be taking place all month, and taco and bake sale for Friday, Oct. 4.

Ardmore Homecoming Week

Ardmore will be having their homecoming game this Friday evening, which means this is spirit week! The public is invited to the community pep rally, known as the Tiger Prowl, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 in front of Ardmore High School.
