For the second year in a row, the Ardmore Police Department and Carter County Sheriff’s Office will gather in front of a monument in front of the detention center to honor county law enforcement officers who lost their lives while serving in uniform.

Every year across the state of Oklahoma, dozens of high schools put on musicals throughout the course of the school year. The best performers and performances are recognized by the Kelli O'Hara Awards presented by OKC Broadway, and this year multiple students from Plainview High School received nominations from their performance of “Anastasia.” Plainview nominees include Isabella Gutierrez for Best Actress, Ethan Savage for Best Actor, and Brock Chambers and Chloe Probst for Spotlight Awards.
The Goddard Center is pleased to announce the 55st Annual Juried Art Exhibit will open Tuesday, May 13, and be on display through Saturday, June 28. We would like to thank the 2025 Judge, OU Professor Jason Cytacki, for his time and expertise.
