5 things to do this weekend

There will be no shortage of talent at Marvin’s Place Art Gallery this weekend. John Walker, Glenda Walker, Jeff Gibbons and Karen Mason will perform in the Listening Room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. The gallery will be open for the sophisticated and the craft beer will be on sale for the thirsty. The show is free of charge. The gallery is located at 103 West Main St. in Ardmore.

The Lone Grove Kiwanis will host a bingo fundraiser at 5 p.m., Saturday at the Lone Grove Cafeteria on the middle school campus. The cost is $20 per person with eight games a pack. Proceeds will go toward scholarships for Lone Grove seniors. The cafeteria is located at Meridian Road and Highway 70.

The Ardmore Family YMCA will host line dance lessons from 6 to 9 p.m., March 21. Dance with instructors and ALT alumni as they teach old and new popular dances. Lessons will be from 6 to 7 p.m. with the dance party starting at 7 p.m. Register online at www.ardmorefamilyymca.org or at the YMCA front desk. The cost is $15 per person or $25 for partners.

The History and Champions Reining Show will take place at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum through Sunday. The coliseum is located at 600 Lake Murray Drive S. Ardmore.

There will be a luncheon fundraiser for Trinity O’Quain from noon to 3 p.m., Sunday at Community Fellowship Church in Ringling. O’Quain has earned a trip for Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston. Funds are being raised to offset travel, food and lodging costs. Charcoal burgers with fixings, chips and a drink will be sold for $12. The church is located at 217 East Main Street in Ringling.
