5 things to do this weekend

The Ardmore Family YMCA will host Healthy Kids Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday. There will be bounce houses, games, free snow cones, an obstacle course and kid’s CPR. The event is free to the public. The YMCA is located at 920 15th Ave. NW in Ardmore.

Swing into spring while attending a plant swap. The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at PJs Plants and Nutrition. Either swap a plant or grab a free one. There will be free pizza, and the Carter County Extension Master Gardeners will be on site. PJs is located at 700 N. Commerce in Ardmore.

The HFV Wilson Community Center will host its 5th and 6th Grade Spring Fling Sneaker Ball from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday. Early bird tickets are $10 per student and $15 at the door. Live music returns to Marvin’s Place Art Gallery this week. Ben McKenzie will be in the Listening Room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday evening. Attendance is free and there will be snacks, and an array of craft beer along with wine to enjoy. The gallery is located at 103 West Main St. in Ardmore.

The Station Sports Bar & Grill welcomes Patrick Doty from 8 to 11 p.m., Saturday. Enjoy a meal, a cold beverage and music throughout the evening. The Station is located at 24 Mill St. SE in Ardmore.
