Enjoy the musical offerings of John Shelton this weekend at Marvin’s Place Art Gallery. Shelton will perform at 6:30 p.m., Friday in the Listening Room. The performance is free with adult beverages and snacks along with art to enjoy as well. The gallery is located at 103 West Main Street in Ardmore.

Enjoy a night at the track Saturday evening as the American Late Model Series heads to the Southern Oklahoma Speedway. The gates start at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. General Admission is $20 with military, senior and kids 6-12 tickets at $15. Kids 5 & under at free and pit passes are $35. The speedway is located at 2789 US Highway 77, Ardmore.

A guided tour of Tucker Tower and the Nature Center will be available at 10 a.m., Saturday. Find out about the history of Lake Murray and its wildlife. Also, enjoy the view of the lake from the tower itself. The tour will start at the Nature Center, which is located at 1587 Tucker Tower Road.

Stretch your legs and enjoy a 1.5-mile guided hike along the Lost Ridge Trail at the Lake Murray State Park. The hike will be both educational and fun. It will start at 1 p.m., Saturday at the Park Office, located at 13528 Scenic Highway 77.

Looking for a unique activity? Cross the Red River and head to the Gainesville Wine Stroll Saturday in the downtown district. The event will feature tastings from 18 North Texas wineries along with other activities. A link to the event can be purchased on the wine stroll’s Facebook page.
