5 things to do this weekend

Make your lunch plans with the Elks this weekend. The Elks Brisket Dinner for Mental Health Awareness Month will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at the Elks Lodge. The Elks are hosting the dinner to raise funds for Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers. The cost is $20 for brisket, sides and a drink. The lodge is located at 2526 S. Commerce in Ardmore.

Ed Rodgers, Matthew Broyles and Buddy Lane will be in the Listening Room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Marvin’s Place Art Gallery. The show is free with beverages and snacks available for purchase. Enjoy a relaxed evening of music amid art and good friends. Sunday, the gallery will host a special show. The Vintage Yell will perform at 2 p.m. in the Listening Room. Tickets for this show are $25 and can be purchased as marvinsplace.gallery. The gallery is located at 103 W. Main St. in Ardmore.

A familiar name for country music fans is coming to Heritage Hall. Pat Green will be in concert on Friday with guests Prophets & Outlaws along with Johnny Cooper. Support the Gene Autry VFD One of the best traditions in Carter County returns as the Gene Autry Volunteer Fire Department hosts its fish fry fundraiser Saturday. There will be a raffle for an elk hunt and a dessert auction. It will be from noon to 4 p.m. in the Gene Autry Community Center at 136 Tumbleweed Road.
