5 things to do this weekend

The 2025 Red, White & Boom 4th of July Fireworks Show at Lake Murray will be Friday evening. It is open to the public with free parking at the R.C. Flying Field launch site. Remember to keep the drones at home.

Do you sense a theme? Arbuckle Beats & Bites; Fireworks at The Artesian will be from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday in Sulphur. Band of Heathens will perform at 6 p.m. with fireworks scheduled at 9 p.m. The event is free to the public. The Artesian is located at 1001 W. 1st Street in Sulphur.

If you missed your window of opportunity to see fireworks on the fourth, head to Healdton Saturday night. A firework show at Healdton Lake will begin at dark. The show is free to the public.

Head to Davis Saturday night for a full evening of entertainment that will include a firework show. Red, White & Davis will be from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Saturday evening. The evening will include live entertainment, food trucks and local vendors. The show is free to the public.

The 56th Annual 4th of July Open Air Gospel Singing, presented by Country Tabernacle, will be from 8 p.m. until midnight on July 4. The Williamsons will be the featured performers and be joined by The Howards, Country Tabernacle Kids, Glory Road Canaan Bound, Gaye Gastineau and other local talent. The Country Tabernacle is located at 3240 Cheek Road in Lone Grove.
