Norma Ann Trapp Woods was born January 17, 1940, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to Louis and Vesta Cozad Trapp, and departed from this life on August 18, 2022 in Ardmore, OK.

In 1965 she met and married James Thomas “Jim” Woods. He preceded her in death on September 13, 1983.

Norma was a retired educator, working in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Kingman, Arizona. After retirement, she moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma where she enjoyed volunteering and serving her church family at the Northwest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children; Tim Woods; Robin Rose and husband Steve; and Debbie Herndon and husband Grover; her grandchildren; Michael Austin, Zachariah Woods, Mikayla Gassman and husband Gary, Jaime White and husband Nathan, Logan Davis and wife Ashley, Reed Davis, Thomas Herndon and wife Alexandria; and William Herndon and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne, Oklahoma with Reverend Becky Jackson officiating.
