The daughter of the late Manuel Leroy Foster and Margaret Ruth (Gann) Foster, Shirley was born on April 14, 1943 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and passed away on November 14, 2022 at the age of 79 years, 7 months, 0 days. She and Troy Stinson were married on April 14, 1961 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and had celebrated 61 years of marriage.

A life-long resident of Ardmore, Shirley had worked in several nursing facilities as a certified nurse’s aide. In her leisure time Shirley enjoyed collecting dolls and was even known to sew doll clothing for them. She also enjoyed cross-stitching and needlepoint. Shirley was a member of the Church of God. Shirley is survived by her loving husband Troy of the home; daughter, Rhonda Tidwell and husband Bryan; sons, Ricky Stinson and friend Michelle Morgan and Randy Stinson and wife Alissa; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Hughes, Norma Sanders, Barbara Jordan, Edna Walker, Kay Berry and Joann Perry; brother, Ronnie Perry. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard Foster, Donnie Perry, Jimmy Foster and Leroy Foster.

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Stinson will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022 in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Gunsolus officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery with Troyce Williams, Dean Williams, Steven Bond, Randy Stinson, Jr., Tagen Stinson, Julio Campos, Jimmy Foster and Aaron Stinson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
