Dola Mae was born on
September 27, 1922 in
Tishomingo, Oklahoma to the proud parents, Oliver and Annie Bell Love. She was educated in the Tishomingo Public School System.
Dola Mae accepted Christ at an early age and attended the AME Methodist Church of Ardmore. She had been a part of the First Baptist Church Family for over 50 years. She was a very active member, chairman of the kitchen and a committee member of L.E. Terry Circle that was renamed Cell Group No. 1. She was also a member of the Ladies of Action. Dola Mae was a domestic worker, loved family gatherings, loved cooking. She was lovable, warm, caring, considerate and had a great sense of humor. Dola Mae was married to the love of her life, Mack I. Nash, Sr. April 17, 1943, who preceded her death. Loved ones celebrating her memory: one son, Mack Jr.
(Dorine) of Newport News, VA; two grandsons: Anthony (Gidget) Nash, Newport News, VA and
Damion (Fatima) Nash, Chesterfield, VA; greatgrandchildren: Sierra, Marcellus, and Malcom; greatgreat grandchild, Dillion; nephews: Jerry, A.C., Otis Jr., and James Oliver; niece: Sherry; a great niece, Kimberly; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, 16 E Street NE Ardmore, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the grandsons and nephews and flower attendants will be the nieces.
