Santa Claus is coming to The Clubhouse. Santa’s Workshop will be from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday at The Clubhouse. The event is free to the public along with free pictures with Santa. There will also be crafts along with homemade treats to enjoy. The Clubhouse is located at 2705 N. Rockford Road in Ardmore.

Start off the weekend on a strong note with the kids. Breakfast with Santa & Candy Cane Scramble will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday at the HFV Wilson Community Center. Enjoy a free breakfast along with crafts and games. The center is located at 625 E. Main St. in Ardmore.

Stranger Than Fiction Books Plus will host a recycled book Christmas craft event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday. The cost is $25, and all supplies and a snack are provided. The bookstore is located at 8 E. Main St. in Ardmore.

Need some more Christmas spirit? It will be available in Healdton this weekend. The Healdton Chamber of Commerce will present the Christmas Parade with the lighted float contest. The parade will begin at 6:15 p.m. and travel down Main Street.

Christmas is in the air in western Carter County. Wilson will host its Community Christmas Dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday at the Wilson school cafeteria. Sunday evening, the town will host its annual Christmas parade at 6:45 p.m. The Daniel Whitner Memorial Car Show will also be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday with free hot dogs and hamburgers. Entry fee is an unwrapped child’s toy. The event will be at 318 Redwood St. in Wilson.
