A man was shot and wounded by an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman following a domestic incident Saturday night.


 


The Love County Sheriff¹s Department responded to a domestic call with a Patrolman offering assistance. Upon arrival, a woman met them, who along with the couple¹s children were placed in the deputy¹s vehicle. The husband, who has yet to be identified, went into his trailer home, which he had set on fire, and came out with a gun and raised it at officers.


 


The man was shot by the Patrolman in the abdomen and was taken to Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore. He is expected to survive the wound.
