Mary Kathryn Henry, age 69, of Ardmore, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at her home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest with Pastor Don Keizor officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, Okla.

Mary was born on June 18, 1944, in Alamosa, Colorado, to William and Martha (Holmes) Horning. She married the love of her life, Bill Henry, on August 1, 1964, in Alamosa, Colorado. Mary completed her freshman year of college at Adams State College in Alamosa that same year. She worked at Dornick Hills after the couple moved here in 1976. In 1977, she took a position with Michelin and retired from there in 2000. Mary always liked to work in the kitchen, cooking and canning what the couple had raised in their garden that year. She and her husband devoted their lives to their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one brother, Billy Jean Horning.

Mary is survived by her three daughters, Denise Tutton of Ardmore, Billie Rene Eiler and husband, Tim of Ardmore, and Teresa Hodges and husband, Frank of Simon, Okla. She also leaves grandchildren, Chris Harvey of Ardmore, Lauren Evans and husband, Noah of Cushing, Okla., Leesha Vogt and husband, Eric of Tulsa, Okla., Remington Willis and wife, Traci of Durant, Okla., Erica Willis of Ardmore, Okla., C.J. Hornback of Ardmore, Okla., Macy Owens of Simon, Okla., Peyton Henry of Simon, Okla., Macy – Brooke Eiler of Bokchito, Okla., and Josh Eiler of Bokchito, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Nolan Evans, Kaylee Harvey, Lexi Willis, Ranger Willis, Arrianna Harvey, Hunter Vogt and soon to arrive twins, Lincoln and Locklyn Evans; two sisters, Francis Elley of Walsenburg, Colo., and Marty Eklund and husband, Dewayne of Brush, Colo.; and stepfather, Charlie Agaiki of Aurora, Colo.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Eiler, Christopher Harvey, Claude Henry, Brandon Henry, Kenny Henry, Remington Willis, Bobby Henry and Nathan Henry.
