Francisco "Pancho" Hernandez, 54, passed away Sept. 25, 2013, at Ardmore. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Nelda Cemetery. Father Thomas Dowdell will be the officiant.

Francisco was born on April 2, 1959, to Francisco Javier Hernandez and Casimira Hernandez in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Francisco was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Barbarito Hernandez; and two sisters, Julia Hernandez and Dolores Hernandez.

Francisco worked in ranching in Stringtown for many years, as well as in Dallas. He also worked at Dornick Hills for 13 years as a groundskeeper until his health forced him to retire. Francisco loved fishing and listening to his music. He was an avid OU, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Cowboys fan. Francisco enjoyed cooking outdoors, most importantly he loved being with his family

He is survived by his wife, Lori Davis; children, Lydia Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez Jr., Barbarito Hernandez and Alondra Hernandez, all of the home, in Wilson, and Javier Hernandez and wife, Whitney of Dickson.; granddaughters, Lyndsei Hernandez and Laura Gonzalez; brothers, Hilario Hernandez and Antonio Hernandez; and sisters, Damiana Hernandez, Cirila Hernandez, Estefana Hernandez, Maria De Los Angeles Hernandez, Ma Del Carmen Hernandez, and Emiliano Hernandez; many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be J.D. Davis, Tirso Mata, Ryan Tilley, Ricardo De la Torre, Ed McKinney and Richard Barnard Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Francisco Hernandez Jr., Steven Davis and Randy Davis.

Family rosary service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, 6 to 8 p.m. at The Chapel at Griffin-Hillcrest, Ardmore.
