Reports of counterfeit $10 and $20 bills have been filed with the Ardmore Police Department over the past month. But a new report will definitely draw raised eyebrows.
The department received a call from Wal-Mart at 11:26 a.m. Sunday regarding a counterfeiting incident involving $100 bills. The report indicated $2,100 in $100 bills was used for the purchase of food, clothing and electronics.
The incident occurred between 1:24 and 1:57 p.m. Saturday. The report indicates there are four suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
