Business After Hours has developed into one of the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce’s most popular events with no signs of slowing down.

Tuesday night, the chamber will kick off the 2015 series of Business After Hours from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ardmore Convention Center. Area restaurants will be featured at the event with six signed up to date.

“Normally we highlight a single business member and in January we highlight our restaurant members,” Mita Bates, Ardmore Chamber of Commerce president & CEO, said. “It gives them the opportunity to showcase their business when normally they would not be able to because of business hours.”

Restaurants will have a sample of their menu items and beverages will be available as well. Business After Hours is a monthly program that typically is on the second Tuesday of the month.

“This kicks off our Business After Hours for the year, which is a very popular event for our chamber members,” Janee Auten, Ardmore Chamber of Commerce Coordinator of Membership Development, said. “In the past year, attendance has really picked up with a number of businesses wanting to host the event.”

Auten said there is currently a waiting list for chamber businesses to host.

This month will also feature the quarterly Business Before Hours event, which will be at 7 a.m., Jan. 27 at Atlas Roofing, which is located at 2300 Veterans Boulevard.
