The third time proved to be the charm in locating Brandon Sizemore Thursday. The 22-year-old was located by the Ardmore police and arrested pending charges of home invasion and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Late Thursday he remained detained at the Carter County Detention Center, awaiting the filing of formal charges and an initial appearance in Carter County District Court.

Wilson Police Chief Felix Hernandez said the department received a call at 3:15 a.m. from a residence at Idlewood Circle. Mickey Bulla reported Sizemore had kicked in the door of his residence and was armed with a 6-inch knife. An ex-girlfriend of Sizemore’s was staying at Bulla’s residence, according to Hernandez, and when Sizemore kicked in the door, she ran into Bulla’s bedroom. Reports indicate Bulla confronted Sizemore and was slashed across the face with the knife and suffered two other injuries.

The female left the house with Sizemore in a late model Toyota Camry. Wilson Police Department issued a “Be On The Lookout” for the vehicle. Hernandez said Sizemore had an address listed in Healdton but the Carter County Sheriff’s Department and Healdton Police Department determined he no longer lived at the residence. The Love County Sheriff’s Department also looked at another address, but it was the Ardmore Police Department that located him and took him into custody just after 10 a.m.

Hernandez said Bulla sought medical treatment for his injuries Thursday morning.

At the time of the latest incident Sizemore was free on bond attached to a January felony charge of assault and battery on a detention officer.
